The Education Program “Ama A Tu Mascota” launched May 3rd. Over 150 children have been reached in the schools of Santa Anita with a goal of 400 children by the end of the month.
Gracie Field, the program director, and Cindi Kirchhoff, Baja Exiles, believe in education as the long term answer to improving the conditions of animals in their community.
Gracie Field trains her students to be presenters. Even her dog Toby, who she rescued as a puppy, is part of the program! Cindi Kirchhoff, the founder and director of Baja Exiles, speaks to the children about the importance to spay and neutering your pet.
Baja Exiles supports this education outreach.
A generous donation by Leslie Ann Smith has made this program possible.
This program has been carefully prepared and will be sure to inspire long term solutions to the condition of animals in La Mision and beyond.
