Cindi and Bill Kirchhoff acquired the property, which is located one mile from their residence in playa La Mision, and have restored it to a Mexican ranchito (small ranch). It is now a beautiful and tranquil sanctuary for animals and those human friends that want to visit them. A number of rescued dogs, cats, horses and other animals, including wild animals, have found a home at El Rancho Exilio Animal Sanctuary.
